  Can I give zero stars? This man frightened my child today after she was getting cranky with her brother. She is 5yo. She had just hurt her toe and had gotten out of the car after a 2hr driving stretch. I was in the process of removing her from the store and calming her down (because I was aware that she was likely becoming annoying to the 1 other person in the store) when the man working there shouted at the 3 of us to get out. "NO! NO! That behaviour is not welcome here. It is not acceptable. Leave now. GO!" My daughter took a very long time to calm down & thank goodness my asd son didnt become anxious. Then he would've seen a meltdown. The whole experience was horrifying and so upsetting. We'll never go back to Ulmarra. Unfortunate too. Looked like a fabulous store. My kids and I ordinarily love spending long periods of time in 2nd hand bookstores like we do where we live. We sit. Choose new books to purchase. The owner talks to the kids about what they've been reading. That's what a bookstore should be like. A welcoming place inviting children to discover books.
